Consultation
One of my favorite ways to share my 20+ years of experience in landscape design-build, maintenance, and farming is through personalized consulting. I bring a broad perspective that helps homeowners clarify priorities, refine their vision, set realistic budgets, and understand the best approach for their unique project.
Consulting can be tailored to your needs—from sharing ideas that support DIY projects or small-scale garden enhancements, to guiding the creation of a full “master plan.” A master plan or comprehensive landscape design begins with a thorough client and site analysis, accurate measurements, and a thoughtfully prepared design that outlines projects in full or in manageable phases, allowing work to proceed efficiently according to your priorities and budget.
Design
Every project begins with understanding your vision, your site, and your priorities. I start with an on-site consultation to explore goals, review existing features, and identify opportunities and constraints. From there, I prepare a 2D conceptual landscape design paired with a thematic presentation that communicates layout, materials, planting character, and overall style.
The design includes up to two rounds of revisions, which can be reviewed on-site or remotely, depending on your preference. The final plan is build-ready, providing a clear roadmap for contractors and builders, whether the project is completed all at once or in phases over time. My goal is to create functional, beautiful, and thoughtful outdoor spaces that reflect your vision and make the process clear and enjoyable.
Edible Garden, Micro Farm and Homestead Planning
I help homeowners design productive, beautiful, and sustainable edible gardens, micro-farms, and homestead spaces. Murals and Land Art
I create vibrant, site-specific murals and land art, and I also guide clients and groups through hands-on mural painting experiences. From selecting imagery to acquiring materials, planning, and painting, I help bring creative visions to life in a way that’s both artistic and achievable.
Beyond murals, I design large-scale landscape art and functional features—custom lighting and fire elements, earth mounds with integrated seating, and innovative water catchment, filtration, and drainage solutions—all thoughtfully designed to meet city codes and safety standards. Each project blends creativity, utility, and playfulness, transforming outdoor spaces into memorable, engaging environments.
